Known as one of the sexy and skillful surgeons of the hit TV series Nip Tuck, Julian McMahon was born on July 27, 1968. This Australian actor is most known for his role as Cole Turner in Charmed before he went on to assume the role of Dr. Christian Troy in Nip Tuck. Big screen movie roles include Dr. Victor Von Doom in Fantastic Four. He also appeared on Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer in 2007.
Julian McMahon is the son of Sir William McMahon who would later become Australian Prime Minister. As a young boy, he attended Sydney Grammar School before attending the University of Sydney to study Law. He also studied Economics at the University of Wollongong before dropping out to pursue a career in modeling, which eventually took him to the runways of Paris, Rome, and Milan. McMahon also made several commercials for Levis Strauss shortly before starring on a short-lived Australian TV soap Home and Away. He played his first role in an American TV series as Ian Rain in the soap opera Another World, a role he held from 1993 to 1995. From 1996 to 2000, McMahon played a role in the NBC series Profiler before he moved on to play the role of sexy half-demon and half-human villain Cole Turner. He held the role for three years before the character was killed off in the 100th episode of the series.
He received a number of awards for his work as Dr. Christian Troy in the hit series Nip Tuck. He was reportedly one of the actors being considered for the James Bond film Casino Royale, although the part was eventually given to Daniel Craig.
