A highly successful Hollywood actor, Bruce Willis started from humble beginnings as a drama club member in high school. After graduation, he worked as a security guard and as a private investigator. However, he returned to pursue his real passion, which is to act. To hone his acting skills, he studied at the Montclair State University under the school's drama program. During his junior year, he dropped out of school and traveled to New York City. After a few jobs at New York City including a theater debut in Heaven and Earth and a role in the play Fool for Love, he then traveled to California to try his luck in Hollywood. His first major project was a role opposite Cybill Shepherd in the 1985-1989 TV series Moonlighting. His breakthrough role was when he starred as an NYPD officer in the 1988 hit movie Die Hard.
Unknown to many, Bruce was also a recording artist during the late eighties. As a recording artist, he recorded The Return of Bruno, a pop blues album that gained moderate success. Subsequent films that boosted his acting career were Quentin Tarantino's cult movie Pulp Fiction, Twelve Monkeys, The Fifth Element, Armageddon, and The Sixth Sense.
He is also known as ex-husband to Hollywood actress Demi Moore. After his divorce from Demi Moore, Bruce was linked to several models, including Emily Sandberg and Maria Bravo Rosado. On the business side, his investments include several properties in Sun Valley, Idaho, and Cheyenne Enterprises, a motion picture production company he established in 2000 along with Arnold Rifkin. Aside from acting, Bruce Willis' military interests have kept him busy, visiting Iraq in 2003 during the USO Tour.
